HEY!! The three of us are attempting to make a difference in at least one campers life this year! As Aquatics staff members at Camp ASCCA this past summer, we got to see how much this place means to not only the campers but to the other staff members as well! ASCCA is a non-profit organization, providing incredible experiences for children and adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities. Camp provides these individuals the opportunity to participate in experiences such as zip lining, tubing, swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, arts and crafts, karaoke, dances, nature walks and projects, ropes course, concerts, and waterslides. Campers are able to have a life changing experience and their families and caretakers have peace of mind knowing they are being loved and all of their needs are being cared for, no matter the severity of the disability. At Camp ASCCA campers and staff are together as one, sharing smiles, laughs, and stories; developing unbreakable bonds and friendships. These campers come back a year later still smiling and talking about the memories they made the previous summer.
You can have a direct impact in the lives of these campers and the experience they will have during their amazing week at camp! Our goal is to raise $725.00, which provides the funds to send one camper to ASCCA for one week. There is an unmatchable joy that these campers experience when they are able live care free and when their abilities are seen and celebrated. Please help us give someone this amazing and genuine opportunity, to make memories of a lifetime!
We feel that raising enough money to send a camper to Camp ASCCA would be a small way of giving back for the impact these campers have made on our hearts. We could not be more grateful for the life changing opportunity of working at camp! If our goal is reached, we will be jumping in the freezing camp pool during our camper Christmas weekend, December 15th!
